Product Overview
TE Connectivity's MAG-MATE terminals offer a comprehensive Insulation Displacement Crimp (IDC) solution for magnet wire terminations, designed to eliminate the need for pre-stripping conductors and post-insulation. These terminals facilitate clean, metal-to-metal interfaces for stable, gas-tight electrical connections, free from oxides and contaminants. They are suitable for high-speed, automated applications, ensuring uniform terminations at a low applied cost. MAG-MATE terminals are available in various styles including poke-in, poke-in tab, splice, crimp wire barrel, solder post, quick connect tab, pin, and receptacle types, accommodating magnet wire sizes from 34 to 12 AWG [0.16 - 2.05 mm]. Applications include motor windings, coil connections, transformer windings, bobbin connections, lighting ballasts, and power supplies.
