AMP Circular Connectors for Commercial Signal & Power Applications
AMP Circular Connectors (CPC) are designed for commercial signal and power applications, offering a lightweight, all-plastic and metal-shell solution. These connectors are UL 94V-0 rated and made of stabilized, heat-resistant, self-extinguishing thermoplastic material. They are available in panel or chassis mount and free-hanging configurations, featuring quick connect/disconnect capability with thread assist and positive detent coupling. The series includes options for standard density, high density, low density power, and combination applications, utilizing various contact types such as Multimate, Size 20 DM/DF, Type XII, Type III+, and Size 8 screw machined/precision formed contacts. They are polarized for proper mating and offer built-in pin and socket protection. Special configurations with solder and posted contacts, as well as receptacles with or without threaded inserts, are also available. These connectors are recognized under the Component Program of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and certified by the Canadian Standards Association.
