Product Overview
The Powerpole PP180 connectors are the largest in the Powerpole series, designed to accommodate wires up to 3/0 AWG (70 mm) and handle high currents up to 350 amps. These connectors feature silver-plated copper contacts for low resistance and superior electrical performance, supporting up to 10,000 mating cycles. The PP180 series is UL rated for hot plugging up to 75 Amps, making them suitable for applications requiring circuit interruption, such as battery systems. Busbar contacts are also available for power inputs and takeoffs, enabling a quick disconnect system for busbar power distribution. Color-coded housings are utilized to minimize user confusion and prevent cross-mating of circuits. Extended capability contacts for 2/0 to 3/0 AWG (70 to 85 mm) are available within the same housings.
