HRS DF1B-2022PCF
Product Overview
The DF1B Series is a 2.5mm pitch connector designed for discrete wire connection, compliant with UL/CSA standards. It features a new Insulation Displacement and Crimping (IDC) contact system that allows mixing cables with different current capacities within a single connector housing. This design enhances maintainability by enabling contact replacement and offers high reliability due to the protected insulation displacement area. The IDC process can be performed using existing crimping machines with an applicator change, eliminating the need for expensive specialized equipment. A potting header option is available for waterproof applications. The series offers broad variations, including single and double row contacts for "Board to Cable" and "In-line" configurations, with standard tin and gold plating options.
