AMPMODU System 50 Connectors

The AMPMODU System 50 connector family offers a wide range of high-density board-to-board (thru-hole and surface-mount) and cable-to-board connectors. Designed with one- and two-row receptacles and post headers on a .050 x .100 [1.27 x 2.54] contact spacing, this system maximizes density and efficient use of printed circuit board area. The connectors are categorized into board-mount headers, board-mount receptacles, and cable-to-board receptacles. Contacts and mating posts are made from high conductivity copper alloy with selective gold plating for enhanced performance and reliability.

Board-mounted connectors are available in vertical and right-angle configurations. Surface-mount connectors come in vertical, double-row styles for parallel stacking. Shrouded post headers provide polarization and alignment for mating cable receptacles, while unshrouded headers allow for close daughter card stacking. Housings are made of high-temperature tolerant materials with stand-offs for flux drainage. Cable-to-board connectors feature integral latches for secure mating and can mass terminate 30 AWG [0.05 mm?] solid and 32 AWG [0.08 mm?] stranded ribbon cable with PVC insulation. Connectors for FFC cable or flexible etched circuitry have dual beam contacts and options for shielded cable and solder tabs.
