Soldering and Handling Precautions
Soldering Condition (SMT): Recommended Soldering iron temperature: 290 10C, Soldering time: Within 2 seconds. Recommended Screen Thickness: 0.15 to 0.2mm. Board Warpage: Max. 0.03mm is allowed in the connector center area.
Soldering Condition (Through-hole): Recommended Flow Soldering: 250 5C for 10 seconds. Manual soldering: Soldering iron temperature 290 10C for 2 seconds.
Cleaning Condition: Refer to the "Wire-to-Board Connector Use Handbook".
Connection Condition: Refer to the "Wire-to-Board Connector Use Handbook".
Precautions:
- When inserting the crimp terminal into the IDC socket, do not insert diagonally to maintain performance reliability.
- Refer to specific documents for cable assembly procedures and crimp quality standards.
- Refrain from insertion and removal when not mounted to the board to prevent damage or deformation of contacts.
- Do not remove the product by holding the cable to prevent damage.
- When soldering by hand, do not apply flux that may result in flux rising.
