Product Overview

The FX30B Series is a power supply connector for PCB connections, featuring a position misalignment absorption type. It is compatible with 13 to 25A current ratings. The connector is designed with a position misalignment absorption function to accommodate connector mounting and PCB mating misalignments. It can absorb misalignments in the longitudinal (X) direction up to +0.3 mm and in the lateral (Y) direction up to 0.3 mm. This function is intended for minor mating misalignments and not for absorbing misalignments due to vibrations. The PCB must be securely fixed, and connectors should not be the sole support for the PCBs. The position misalignment absorption is achieved through spring displacement of the contacts, generating a spring reaction force (approximately 4 N per core) that structural components must withstand. The allowable mating gap is 2mm, with the gap between the header and receptacle during mating recommended to be within 1.0 or 1.3mm to account for PCB warping. The connector also incorporates a reverse insertion prevention structure and an abnormal mating position prevention structure. It is not designed for current interruption applications (prohibition of hot-swapping).
