Product Overview

The 3M IDC Ribbon Cable Socket, 891 Series, is designed for .100" x .100" connections with .050" pitch cable. It features double-recessed covers for cable termination from either side, virtually eliminating the need for single-recessed cover connectors. The sockets offer military polarization, with or without a center bump, which is designed to prevent premature latch locking during shipment. Optional double-sided adhesive pull tabs are available for easy unplugging. These connectors are suitable for manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment.
