Hermaphroditic Connectors with Gold Plating
TE Connectivity (TE) introduces standard Hermaphroditic Blade and Receptacle connectors featuring selective gold plating, designed for harsh environments with moisture and high vibration. These connectors are ideal for linear LED lighting fixtures, providing power to the first and between adjacent LED printed circuit boards. They offer simplified assembly and service with vertical and horizontal board-to-board mating, positive latching for wire-to-board connections, and a low-profile design that eliminates shadowing. The tape and reel packaging is compatible with high-speed SMT and reflow solder processes. Select gold plating mitigates fretting corrosion in demanding LED lighting applications.
