Product Overview
The SB 50 Connector, building on the legacy of Anderson's 1953 design, is the industry standard for DC power distribution and battery connections. These two-pole connectors feature a robust one-piece plastic housing with stainless steel springs to secure low-resistance contacts. Designed for versatility, the SB 50 series accommodates wire sizes from 16 to 6 AWG (1.5 to 16 mm) within its compact housing. Key benefits include low-resistance silver or tin-plated copper contacts supporting UL-rated currents up to 120 amps, UL-rated hot-plugging capability up to 50 amps for applications requiring circuit interruption, and a single connection system for wire, PCB, and busbar applications.
