Product Overview

The SFP+ interconnect system extends the capabilities of the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) standard to support data rates up to 10 Gb/s. This system adheres to the performance requirements of the SFF-8431 specification and is suitable for both 8G Fibre Channel and 10G Ethernet applications. The SFP+ product family encompasses cages, connectors, and copper cable assemblies. Tyco Electronics also provides LC optical connectors and cable assemblies for seamless integration with SFP+ transceivers.
