Product Overview
Tyco Electronics offers Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP) interconnect systems designed for high-speed pluggable I/O interfaces. These systems provide 4 channels, offering three times the density of SFP/SFP+ ports and supporting data rates up to 10 Gb/s for Fibre Channel, Ethernet, SDH/SONET, and INFINIBAND standards. The QSFP cages and connectors are compatible with both optical and copper interfaces, making them suitable for applications such as switches, routers, host bus adapters (HBAs), enterprise storage, and high-density, high-speed I/O in multiple channel interconnects.
