The Amphenol ICC QSFP DD interconnect system is a 76-position, 0.8mm pitch connector designed for high-speed serial applications. Each port supports up to 400Gb/s aggregate bandwidth through an 8 x 50Gb/s electrical interface. The system offers backwards compatibility with QSFP28 modules, allowing them to connect to 4 of the 8 electrical channels. It is a leading multi-lane pluggable form factor utilized across Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand networks. Key benefits include enabling 200G and 400G aggregate bandwidth per port, supporting up to 14.4Tb/s in a single switch slot, and offering multiple connector and heat sink configurations for optimized thermal management.
