Product Overview

The Industrial Mini I/O connector system is a compact, wire-to-wire and wire-to-board solution for reliably serial, bus, and Ethernet connections in industrial applications. It offers a 75% smaller footprint than conventional RJ45 connectors, saving valuable board space and enabling the construction of very compact DIN rail system modules due to its reduced height. Designed for stringent industrial environments, it features high board connector retention and a compact metal latching mechanism to prevent accidental disconnections and reduce system downtime. Stable connections are ensured by a double-point-of-contact system that handles shock and vibrations. The upgraded SMT PCB Mini I/O portfolio meets the latest industrial assembly process requirements with improved co-planarity (0.08mm) and LCP materials for higher reflow solder temperatures, increasing processing efficiency and durability. EMI and signal integrity are optimized through signal path design and 360-degree shielding, achieving CAT6A performance.
