Product Overview
Amphenol ICC's UltraPort SFP+ interconnect system is a low-cost, compact, and flexible solution designed for 28Gb/s applications. It features a 20-position hot-swappable I/O connector enclosed in a metal cage, mounted to a host PCB. This system offers backward compatibility for next-generation Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications. The UltraPort SFP+ connector shares the same mating interface and EMI cage dimensions as the SFP+ form factor, making it suitable for server and switch applications. The connector accepts multiple transceivers per INF-8081, enabling combined transmit and receive functions in a compact format. Stacked versions (2xN) are available with integrated connectors. The product offers various cage configurations, including press-fit or solder tail versions with enhanced transceiver mating tabs.
