Product Overview
Pogo pins are spring-loaded electrical contacts, ideal for creating jigs or making temporary, yet electrically solid, connections. They are commonly used for building programming and testing jigs, and are particularly useful for JTAG programming of boards where soldering headers is not feasible. By inserting these thin contacts into a 0.1" pitch IDC programming cable and pressing onto the target contacts, a connection can be established.
These specific pogo pins are recommended for their slim body diameter, allowing them to fit into most proto board or perf board holes. The precise spring contact head is designed for effective contact.
Applications:
- Creating programming jigs
- Building testing jigs
- Temporary JTAG programming
- Making momentary electrical contacts
